Audio & Video From BlogOrlando?

One of the questions that always comes up is, "Will there be audio or video podcasts I can see from BlogOrlando?" Sadly, no. We just don't have the budget to coordinate taping of all the sessions.

Also, how many times has the flow of conversation at an event been broken by the scream of "Mic......wait for the mic!!!!!"

However, I do encourage folks to bring their Flip cameras or Sanyo Xacti's to 'bootleg' the sessions :-)

Jake Starts, Erik Ends

We've finalized our opening and closing general sessions for BlogOrlando. Kicking things off will be Jake McKee from Ant's Eye View. Jake recently took part in the 10th anniversary event for the Cluetrain Manifesto and talked about how LEGO embraced this new way of thinking and interacting with customers. At BlogOrlando he'll touch on some of the same themes.

The final session of the day will feature a presentation and discussion with Erik Hersman. An Orlando-local, Erik runs a number of ventures, almost all of them with a connection to Africa.

I chose Erik for a particular reason. The tracks we have feature a number of different disciplines, i.e., marketing, media, technology. What Erik is doing combines all of these aspects in a unique way. It should make for an interesting conversation.

Almost One Month Away

I finally have a little bit of breathing room for the next week or so, with that be on the watch for some activity here :-)

I'll be posting the session outlines along with the final schedule.

Session Leader Updates

A few more session leaders have been confirmed. Benet Wilson with Aviation Week will be back in the media track. In the technical track Alex Rudloff will be leading a session on scaling and performance. Yes it will be a small session (I think) but there are a group of people that really want to discuss this.

In the community track Amber Rhea will lead a session on professionalism online....what does it mean?

As always, if you haven't registered yet go do it!
