Sunday Plans? Join us at Disney's Animal Kingdom
Since BlogOrlando has moved to Saturday, our normal 'Disney' day is pushed back till Sunday. If you remember the first year we went to the Magic Kingdom, last year was EPCOT, so this year we're moving to Animal Kingdom.
Once again our local Disney blogger John Frost will be our guide. Here's a note from John:
Disney's Animal Kingdom is a theme park unlike any other. From can't miss shows like The Lion King Celebration and Finding Nemo - The Musical to unique animal attractions like Kilimanjaro Safari and Rafiki's Planet Watch you'll experience the animal kingdom in a whole new way. You'll also find the traditional Disney of highly themed thrill rides like Expedition Everest and Dinosaur which are sure to excite. Thousands of animals and countless details make this an experience you don't want to miss. Those are just a few of the reasons Disney's Animal Kingdom is my favorite of the four Walt Disney World parks. I look forward to sharing it with you.
We'll plan to meet at 9AM at the far left of the ticket turnstiles. The park closes at 5pm, hence the early start. Wear comfortable walking shoes, as Disney's Animal Kingdom is the largest of all Disney's theme parks, and bring a fast camera.
If you're planning on attending, please comment below on whether you'd be interested in dining at the nearby Animal Kingdom Lodge's BOMA taste of Africa buffet for dinner. It's my favorite on property.

I'm in. The earlier the better for DAK because the animals are more active in the AM. Dinner sounds awesome also.

I agree. The safari ride is much better in the morning when all of the animals are active and roaming around, instead of hiding out in the shade to stay cool like they are in the afternoon.

I'm in for DAK, but I don't like Boma's dinner offerings enough to spend the $27.
I think I'll probably park hop over to Epcot and catch the Food & Wine fest for dinner. :)

I'll come play but will probably skip dinner as I'll be driving back home that night.
